Sadie, the wall is falling down in the basement... No resale if the wall is not repaired... Definately no sale if the wall does fall.. Besides it could make the house have major structual problems from no support... Mortage company will not loan money on a house that is about to fall down... All I can suggest is call 2 more contractors to give ya an estimate... Sadie keep your mouth shut -- don't tell them someone was already their and did an estimate--ok
