Do you think the bible should be taken literally?

I believe in Evolution. I'm not sure in the bible because I have a lot of doubts in God. I mean if He created the world, who created him? He had to be createed somehow. And how created the thing who created Him? And so on and so forth. Why doesn't he speak up about himself and tell us what he thinks? Why has he let the world fall out of hand wiht pollution and war? And how could he have a son if he is a spirit or invisible or whatever. He can't really have a wife either. i think that in a thousand years or so, this will all be in museums such as Egypt and their gods. They took it really seriously now it's a thing in a local museum. That's how I look upon it. I bet lots of you disagree with me.
