Boy Help- Is he just friendly, or is there something more?

Last summer, I was crazy about this boy I worked with. Towards the end of the summer, I finally got up the courage tell him my feelings. Nothing really came of it, and my feelings for him sort of died off over the fall and winter. It is obvious that throughout this time he has made an effort to make sure we remain friends, and I have been very thankful for that. However, in the last few weeks his "friendliness" has been a little more than usual. He has started talking to me much more than previously. He apologized to me a week later after he got cut off of one of our online conversations..an incident I didn't even remember, and he wouldn't normally apologize for. Likewise, he has told me that he really wishes I was working with him again this summer, and seems to be making attempts during school to spend more time with me. However, he hasn't asked me at all to hang out outside of school. Do you think he's just being friendly, or is he starting to feel something more?
